When resurfacing is the right call

Surface cracking, raveling, gray oxidized asphalt, and shallow ruts are all top-layer problems, and a top-layer fix handles them. Deep alligator cracking, pumping, and sunken areas mean base failure, which no overlay can cure. We'll walk your pavement, tell you which category you're in, and back it up with what we find.

How we make the new layer stick

The old surface gets cleaned and repaired first: failed spots cut out and patched, cracks addressed, edges milled or feathered where the new lift needs room at doors, garages, and curbs. A tack coat glues old to new, then fresh hot mix goes down and gets rolled tight. Done right, the two layers act as one thicker, stronger pavement.
