The name is
the promise.

We called this company Armour for a reason. Asphalt in North Central Florida takes a daily beating: hammering UV from above, tropical downpours from the side, and sand that swallows a bad base from below. Our job is to build pavement that shrugs all three off.

Armour Asphalt is locally owned and operated out of Gainesville. No call centers, no franchise playbook. When you call (352) 554-1347 you reach the people who will actually stand on your property, measure it, and put a real written number in your hand for free.

Look around town and you'll find our work everywhere: hotel parking lots off the interstate, gas stations, food parks, clinics, credit unions, horse farms in Ocala, and hundreds of driveways under the oaks. We handle residential, commercial, and private road work, so if it's asphalt, we build it, repair it, or protect it. We're licensed and insured, we answer our own phone, and we plan on keeping both of those true.

We contacted Armour off of a Facebook ad seeking price information on paving a parking lot at one of our properties in Chiefland, FL. The owner and his team were very responsive and visited the site on a Saturday to inspect it. The owner called be back that day with a detailed plan and a great price. He was not pushy and suggested I talk it over with my wife and we’d reconnect on Monday. We had a few more questions on Monday and told home we liked what we heard. We asked him to send it to us in writing, which he did. He even added a couple of extras we had not discussed but made the job much better in the end. Armour is a great company to work with and we’ll be calling them again on other locations.

Before we leave, you walk the finished surface with us. If something's not right, we fix it then, not "next season." Then you keep our direct number.
