Ocala is thirty-eight miles down the road from our Gainesville base, and some seasons it feels like half our schedule. Horse country asks a lot of its pavement: long estate approaches that need to look immaculate, barn aprons and equipment yards that take real weight, and farm lanes where dust and washboard are the enemy. That mix is exactly what our crew is built for.

A big part of our Ocala work is recycled asphalt millings, and it's no accident. Millings give a horse farm a firm, low-dust, great-looking lane at a fraction of hot-mix cost, they bind tight under the Florida sun, and they don't scatter into paddocks the way gravel does. We deliver, spread, grade, and roller-compact them properly. The difference between a millings lane that lasts and a pile of loose grindings is all in the compaction.

Full hot-mix work is constant here too: new driveways for the farmhouses and estates going up across the county, resurfacing for gated communities, and commercial paving and sealcoating along the 200 corridor, 441, and the retail strips. Marion County sits on karst, which is limestone with sand over it, and pavement here lives or dies by base preparation and drainage. We build for it: compacted limerock bases, grades that shed the summer downpours, and honest advice about which surface fits which lane, because a mile-long approach and a parking court are not the same problem.
